Online Learning, is it better?

Online Learning... does it benefit our society?

School is a place that you will spend 25% of your life. It went by a routine that has lasted over 20 years. In America, you got to school all year, taking breaks in spring, summer, and winter. You can start in Kindergarten, and move on through elementary school. Which consists of grades one - five. In elementary school you start learning basic things. Adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing.

Coming up next, we have middle school. Here you start learning more complicated and diverse things. You start in 6th grade moving on to 7th, then finally 8th. Through these grades, you will be learning about more complicated things. A few examples are: Multiplying/Dividing decimals/fractions, Algebra, Science, and more.

After middle school, there is highschool, but there is no need to get into that. As it is just a more complex level of middle school, and where you start preparing for college.

Though there is a new and, well, growing new way of learning. Online learning, it sounds silly because you wont learn anything online because a real person cannot monitor your actions, but in some cases it is more successful than standard, school learning. Though the real question is: Does it benefit our society?

In my total opinion, i think it absolutely does. This is because EVERYONE has different learning styles. People may prefer learning 1 on 1, or by their selves, and online learning can provide ALL of that. Also, if people are more comfortable on computers, it benefits them as well. The computer itself is becoming more and more advanced through the years, think of it. The first computer was made in the 80's. It's only been 20 years. and they are making phones that are as powerful as computers! So overall, I do believe that online learning benefits our society. If I were to explain it, it would be like this: In school, a single teacher has to teach 30+ kids in a way that ALL of them  will understand. This does not succeed all the time. As some students may have trouble in that section, or topic. In online learning, you can be singled out as a single person, and be taught in the way YOU prefer it.
